August 17, 200718 yr Author Not sure how good the autogen trees are going to be on this. I hope someone would produce autogens for So cal sceneries as a separate software. That would be awesome!I have gotten spoilt with France VFR photosceneries. they come with a good bit of hand placed autogens for theor photosceneries (France North Alps) and they also have a separate autogen addons.MannyAnother thing is.. I should consider getting rid of SP2 patch to get rid of the blurries problem. I'd rather have a few FPS than blurries. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

August 17, 200718 yr doesn't megascenery produce its own autogen? I really don't care for flat pictures either!

August 18, 200718 yr This sounds very interesting. Does anyone know whether there will be a flyable demo?best regards, Chris
August 18, 200718 yr I have seen Megascenery for years, but until now (with a pretty good machine)I was afraid of the frame rate hit. For those of you who have used it before, what have you experienced in terms of frame rate deterioration? That's a little hard to accept. I think their site says it loads as fast as the default textures, which may or may not be a plus in these "blurry" days. ;^) Thanks for the info!Steve
August 18, 200718 yr Author Photo textures generally does not affect FPS in general. However, FSX in my setup has blurries problem. So if I take off and hang around the place where I started from, it would be ok. However, IF I am flying from another location into an areas with photo textures I arrive into blurred mess. This was after the SP1. Prior to that, I have the thread% to fix any blurries issue. I don't have that anymore.IMO, SP1 has pretty much killed FSX for me on the account of there is no single parameter that would let me allocate computing resources for eliminating blurries. I know there are lots of people who have sorted their problems. But I have been unable to. I have a core 2 Duo 3.4Ghz and a 8800GTXManny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
