SpaceX 33 engine Static Fire.

Featured Replies

This will be the most engines fired in one go. Most thrust from a rocket too.

33 Raptor 2 engines.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Quicker than 55 mins. Just finished. 😁

Looked like a succesful test. Everything still in one piece.

Very impresive. Will have been more thrust than SLS.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what SpaceX conclude but looked good to me.

👍

Rewind and watch the replay, fellow space cadet. You could cook a piece of toast on those firey Raptors, for sure.

What an expensive way to frighten birds....

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

And a cheaper way to access space.

Two Raptors shut down apparently. One automatically and one manually. Would still have been enough to reach orbit though.

It took awhile to zip though the multi-hours to see the ten or so seconds of action, but it was worth the time spent. That was AWESOME!!!

Start at 6:40:00 Charlie!

I did hear a theory that it wasn't full power on the Raptors for the test and that there might be a second test. Cant vouch for that though, It was just a suggestion given that some didn't think it was as noisy as it should be.
