A great example of why I always look forward to your posts!

Great shots! Is this XP12? What scenery (airport and orthos?)

I live in the area and it's always nice to see screenshots like these

Thx Ryan

Thanks.  Scenery is Orbx TE socal.  And the airport is GPB500 PSP.  Not even sure if that guy exists anymore.  There was a freeware version but this one is basically you pay a fee and get a bunch of airports.(got a bunch of airports).

Another delightful flight Ryan!

Indeed a few bumps, and maybe some more cloud cover than I would like but still a nice flight.

I've been trying to give xp12 a bit more action.  I still don't love some things (clouds look very pixelated/very blurry up close) and the AA is rough.  But with orbx true earth and the XP12 lightning and atmosphere, I feel it's an acceptable time to start grabbing screenshots.  I will be doing more XP flights.

Wonderful set of shots, Ryan. Didn't even occur to me it might be XP. I had a couple of flights in XP12 just to check it out and enjoyed it, and it does seem like most of my old XP11 scenery library works in XP12 (at least on the few flights I tried) and I agree very much - XP12 plus True Earth is pretty good. Trouble is, I've forgotten most of my XP mindset - but maybe it would come back to me!

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Luv those screenshots, nice and varied...

Darryl
