April 1, 20233 yr Perhaps it's just my imagination, but seems more stable on takeoff and landings. Doesn't seem squirrely as before. I glanced at the airspeed and noticed it was reading little over 180.. but this was in MPH not KPH. My first notion was that's a little high, but that's really around 156 Knots. I wish they'd update the engine sounds. Almost sounds like a chain saw. Buzzes too much. Only sounds like a radial on startup, even then it's weak. Only the dc3-enhanced package was updated so i don`t think so.. You could try this mod : Duckworks DC-3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS from the improvments section: - heading select enabled for the retrofitted versions cheers 😉 Edited April 1, 20233 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

It's surprising to me how far these AH people have left this airplane without a proper AP Heading mode, since its release. OK, that's your choice, but to say the mod is great, using it a lot before i tested the unmoded AH DC-3 so like it much more with the mod.. And by the way IMO, the whole DC-3 should be updated and optimized from the Developer ( AH ) i got sometimes sutters at airports and by zooming towards the plane what i not see at any other planes. Also high up in the air looking from the outside camera , doeing nothing, i am seeing short stutters here and there. Sometimes i assume it has to do with the Propeller animation but not shure about that.. cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
April 1, 20233 yr Author Would still like to see a Mods list for this update. Any ideas where it might be located? T45

April 1, 20233 yr No, I was wrong 🙂 From their Facebook page Quote As part of our contractual obligations, the DC-3 will be subject to a continuous programme of upgrades, improvements and enhancements, just like our regular products. The DC-3 is an aeroplane very dear to our hearts and we want to ensure we can deliver the very best we can. So for those of you who are making assumptions and erroneous conjecture, stop. Also, those who have been critical of Asobo with regard to the DC-3, you are firing at the wrong target. We are contracted to Microsoft and the DC-3 is a Microsoft product. We are in complete agreement over the future of the DC-3. We would never have agreed to do this project had that not been the case. We are already assembling a list of bug-fixes and improvements based on comment in forums and from the MS Beta Team. Also, we are currently at work on a series of real-world liveries which we will distribute absoolutely FREE as a series of livery packs. This will effectively add up to 24 new RW liveries t your collections! So,in the meantime, continue to enjoy this fabulous 40th Anniversary gift from Microsoft and know, from us here at AH, the journey is far from over. ...
April 1, 20233 yr Yeah, all the third party aircraft with the Anniversary edition are maintained by their creators.
