Watching the video I’m struck by the thought that even though MSFS 2020 is transformational in so many ways from previous flight simulators, there were moments when paired with the right tools FSX could be totally mesmerizing and convincing.

Great video...and as @btacon says, I was thinking about this exact thing the other day, as I build my MSFS and XP12 with addons, they are great for sure, but I was recalling (and I still have my FSX and P3D on HDs) how great these were once one has added all the tools and addons.

Your video is a perfect example of this.  Nice job.

I uploaded that video to Youtube nearly 10 years ago!😁

If I still had that that hardware and all the software still installed on it I beat I could make it even look better.

I've learned a few trick since then😆

It was 10 years ago. I have it listed a private for years but I just made it public again.

That was pretty great for 10 years ago!  And now we have default MSFS realism. Just posted this backcountry video in the Maule M-7.
