I believe the Q 400 cost about $7 million dollars more than the ATR.

Yep that too. More expensive. Less efficient. Faster. Cooler.

To be fair, it does seat more passengers and has a significantly higher MTOW.

But don't get me wrong - I like the ATR and flew the heck out of it back in the FS9 days. It's got a slightly different mission than the Q400, and that's a good thing.

Have you set your minimums?

Where do you enter that? Can't find it?

Left hand side of the PFD. There are 3 nobs. One for speed, one for the Altimeter and one for the Minima.

By the way it is not connected to the Minima. I flew a few legs visually last night without setting them and still got callouts. The next thing to check is, whether approach runway is selected in the FMC.

Yea, it is.

I’m not sure what’s realistic for the ATR but I haven’t had all the call-outs that normally exist with other aircraft, ie 2500, 1000 etc.  I think the first one I had was approaching decision height.

Thank goodness I saved my money with the ATR, huh. $13 wasn't bad. 😁

According some ATR videos I found, callout starts from 200

That video has a 500 callout! Plus "approaching minimums" and "minimums minimums", 200, 100, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10. I suspect it's an operator option.

Depends on the decision height. The first radio altimeter call out you get is 500.
