Interesting Rocks (SEZ - EGE)

Recommended Posts

I didn't get many pics of the departure from Sedona but I found some really interesting topography on my way to Vail, Colorado (KEGE).  Hope you enjoy the sights!

Is this wind erosion or sand?  I found it to be very interesting

Glad you took time to appreciate the topography along your route. Shots on final into Vail are really nice too. Never got to see it that well as a passenger in a Rocky Mountain Airways Twin Otter many years ago.

Beautiful Shots Ryan!  I found your rocks2 photo is over the Hopi Reservation approximately 60 miles SE of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (Off your left wing).  Monument Valley is roughly 100 miles NE - off your nose.  It's a wonderful area to see at FL410 or even FL02.

Fantastic pics!
A couple of those over the desert could be mistaken for real photos.

The composition of those at the FAF and on final are great.
