This post caught my eye because I happened to see a rerun of Risky Business this past weekend....and who knew that actor's name before that movie....🙂...just 3 years before the first Top Gun... BTW, another thing from the past...when the original Top Gun was released, I used to know a colleague (a motorcycle enthusiast and rider) who I recall went to see that movie (for 2nd time maybe?) in the theater with other (like-minded) bikers.... Surely the movie has had strong following .... And today, I read a bit of trivia/history: "In the new movie Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise rides two Kawasaki motorcycles: the Ninja GPZ900R and the Ninja H2 Carbon1234. The GPZ900R is the same model he used in the original 1986 movie, and it was the fastest motorcycle in the world at that time. The H2 Carbon is a supercharged superbike with more than 200 horsepower, and it is the most powerful supercharged production motorcycle in the world as of 2022. He recreates a scene from the first movie where he races a fighter jet on the GPZ900R, and he also takes a co-star for a ride on the H2 Carbon24." Oh well.... exciting screenshots and videos...here...!! [Hope you are enjoying the glorious Chicago Summer, as long as it lasts...Cheers...]
