Noel, that plan is not yet available in my area.  I am limited to 300GB a month.  That's the best T=Mobile can do for me.  I'm going to check around with other providers.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Haven't you flown the Quest Kodiak quite a lot?   There's a good Kodiak for MSFS which is made by a company called SWS.

Yes, I fly the Quest Kodiak a lot.  But in P3D.  At my age I'm sticking with something I have a ton of airplanes and Orbx scenery invested in.  I'm not jumping into something new and starting all over again.  MSFS will have to get along without me.

Kudos to you. That makes total sense to me. Enjoy what you have. New stuff means you have new choices to make and that can actually result in unnecessary stress:

Most hotspots often are not secure,

My 2 cents... I'm hardwired at 1 Gbps with unlimited data but have been using PIA for years (Buy VPN with Credit Card or PayPal | Private Internet Access).  Not so much for added security, but to help get rid of those pesky ads, phishing websites, malware, etc. OP might want to check PIA. It cost me U$2 per month for 3 years plus the first 3 months were free. Tech support is also quick to reply. I use it on my desktop at home and on my laptop when traveling.

One time payment options...  alternative to anti-virus software is: Shadow Defender - the easiest PC/laptop security and privacy protection tool. For backup: Macrium Software | It's our Business to protect your data. With his new PC and lots of memory, he can use his backups in virtual mode. It's like running a desktop in another desktop simultaneously which is like the PIP (picture-in-picture) feature in some TVs. Tech support is responsive too. I've been using both for years as well.
