iniBuilds A300 and Beluga updated for XP12!

Recommended Posts

Non starter for me - basically on top of price described in the detail on their site as basically a patch or WIP - ummm no thanks.

I bought both the A300-600R(F) ON THE LINE.
Since I was not being able to activate, I decided to open a ticket.
They said that the license is valid for use on a single personal computer. I ask them to deactivate any computer andstart up again, because I had upgraded my computer and could have forgotten to uninstall some addons,

They said they don't have the ability to remotely deactivate installation.

I've been buying addons since 1998 and I never had a problem like this one.

I'm posting my experience to warn you that if you ever forget to uninstall iniBuild you may loose your investiment.

Not only that, I just can't get behind them after their treatment of their X-Plane 11 customers.

Despite their stellar rep, I never bought one just because I already have the FF A320. And once I saw how they acted when they had the MSFS deal in the bag, I can't even bring myself to give them $10 on sale.

On a side note, perhaps they're getting some (IMHO) well deserved karma in that the recently teased Beluga in MSFS v2024...isn't theirs.

Thanks for mentioning this.  I moved my XP11 installation to a different PC, and haven't flown the A300 since.  Thankfully it was still installed on the old machine, so I was able to deactivate it.

That's weird, I changed my PC and before that I have asked them on their forum if I need to deactivate or something, they said no, and I have activated the new install on my new PC both XP11 and XP12 without any issue.

Hmm.. this always crashes about an hour in to the flight for me sadly. Seems the iniautosave plugin is the culprit. Tried several fixes mentioned in their Discord but nothing has worked yet.

On a flight RN with an edit to the config file and keeping fingers crossed.

@IFRking

I think really that you're not knowing that you're, saying !
Just for your information i was on MSFS since almost the beginning more than 25 years and I have switched on X-Plane12 since octobre 2023
The only thing I regret that I've not done earlier
Almost all the aircrafts are best in X-Plane11 & X-Plane12
If you would libe be honnest compare PMDG B737 (70$) with the Zibo B737-800X (freeware), FenixA320 with ToLiss A320 Neo
I have the Hot Start Challenger 650... No comparaison is possible ! Idem with Citation 560
etc.. etc..
A friend of mine on YouTube has compared A300 MSFS and A300 XPlane-12 from iniBuilds... All is best on X-Plane12
If you like a game, if you like Googlemap photoshoped stay on MSFS or XBox.. It's for you
If you like aircrafts and aeronautics, X-Plane12
No doubt

Could you please give a link to that video?

Just watched BlackBox711 unbiased review, and he does mention the XP version too.Is this the video you meant?

Thx!

Saving flights is a nightmare, because flight simulators have go so complicated and there is so much data needed on complex planes to play back correctly. Far easier on a 172 with a simple GPS to do.

I never liked the iNibuilds airbuses in XP, but just bought in a Sale the A300... it was inexpensive and I'm sure it'll feel a lot more like an A300-600 than in MFS... but still, they're inferior to anything from FF or Toliss, IMO...
