FSUIPC7 Autorun

Recommended Posts

Anyone know how to get it to autorun with start of MSFS?  I have to manually run each time.  It used to autorun.

I use the batch script (MSFS.bat) that comes with FSUIPC7 to start MSFS and FSUIPC together.

FSUIPC is usuallysetup for auto run during install. Just re-install (no need for uninstalling) the latest version and you should be good.

i think you have to start msfs in admin mode for it to auto start.

FSUIPC runs automatically if it's installed correctly.  It's displayed within MSFS by pressing alt+f.  Then assignments can be made.

You should have it on you exe.xml file, like this but probably with a different path:

<Launch.Addon>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Name>FSUIPC7</Name>
        <Path>G:\Games\FSUIPC7\FSUIPC7.exe</Path>
        <CommandLine>-auto</CommandLine>
        <NewConsole>False</NewConsole>
    </Launch.Addon>

I’ve had this happen a few times and a reinstall fixes it.

Thanks all for your responses.

I am launching MSFS thru Addonlinker.

Alvega:  I don't seem to have an FSUIPC7.exe.xml file.  I have a config text doc.

I will try re-install.

It's not an FSUIPC7 exe.xml, that bit I pasted is inside the MSFS exe.xml. For me it's in the C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator folder, where YourUsername is your Windows username. If you reinstall I think it will had it there.
