This is essentially a radar downwind (like a traffic pattern but wider and you'll talk to the approach controllers)

Oh this reminds me - I wanted to show off some of the new freeware KMSP.  It is a WIP from connomar and it's not flight beam quality, but it's a nice scenery until we can get the FB version (I'll make another screenshot post later)

Interesting (and detailed) arrival. The smoke looked pretty convincing in a few of those lower altitude shots.

That was terrific Ryan.

Ryan loves his Cirrus Jet, looks great and is so, so quiet...saw my first one at LAX.

Exceptionally sharp series of images, Ryan...with this pretty and peppy a/c....enjoyed it all...!

And, sure, flying over your backyard...and into your hometown airport must always feel nice...Of course, I would also presume that you (professionally and competently) vectored yourself for the arrival...🙂... (no short-cuts taken as I might take recourse to myself...) ...

 

Great shots Ryan. Not only a favourite plane, and a great livery, but a place I realy like as well. Had a few (working) trips to the twin cities and enjoyed every one of them.
