June 30, 20232 yr Hello all, Has anyone experienced any ILS landing issues recently predominantly using the Fenix/FBW A320s? Have yet to try the default ac. Everything is set up for landing, intercepting G/S from beneath at the required altitude tracks fine laterally but aircraft just stays at the FAP altitude. Positive i have not missed any steps for the approach phase. Tried Cat I & III landings both APs single AP to no avail only just got back into the sim after a few weeks away it was all working fine prior to this week. Any suggestions guys & gals? Thank You Regards Edited June 30, 20232 yr by Nicholas Jackson
June 30, 20232 yr Yes. I have noticed the same thing after the latest update with several aircraft, including default aircraft. Something is funky with the ILS capture. Sincerely, Dennis D. June 30, 20232 yr No problem here with either the FBW or the A320 since the AAU2, though "only" one flight each so far (wasn't in the beta). It *could* be an airport specific thing, do you use default airports or 3rd party? I use 3rd party only (payware and freeware). For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

June 30, 20232 yr I flew the Fenix A320 last night and had no problems capturing the ILS. I also flew an RNAV approach on the return leg without issue. However, that is the only flight(s) I have made in the Fenix since the latest AAU2 update, so a small sample size. Regards Just to understand better where it's failing: - You do receive the GS signal and see the GS indicator moving, yes? - If so, what happens when you push the APP button and capture the GS? Which indications does the PFD show (should be LOC and GS)? - You say it won't descend via the glideslope, but does the glideslope indicator move down and it's just the aircraft not following?
