July 4, 20232 yr Because I'm lazy is there some files I can copy across to the new PC to save setting all this up again per aircraft? Same goes for my keyboard binds, hardware sensitivity settings? EDIT: Ok appears camera.cfg lives inside the /simobjects/airplanes folder under \Packages\Community or Official. I've made a backup of both these folders and will be copying them to the new PC via external drive so the camera views are sorted. Can't locate the file where my settings are stored....I'm looking. July 4, 20232 yr Settings should be saved in the cloud. I have never had a problem with having to save anything to my local storage before reinstall on a different PC. Key bindings and other settings are stored in the cloud, which will reinstall automatically. Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

So I'm on my new rig, I copied the Community folder onto an external hard drive and copied everything over to the new PC. None of my camera views have come across though, in any aircraft? Camera.cfg lives in the aircraft folder in the Community folder so I'm not sure why my camera presets don't work. Any ideas?? Thomas Derbyshire
July 22, 20232 yr Look at what I wrote: the individual aircraft camera folders are in: ..........Local/Simobjects/Airplanes/your_aircraft, not in the community folder, move a few folders back!
