Night lights for roads traffic (vehicles)

Featured Replies

Greetings,I have seen many pictures and videos depicting cars, trucks & buses at night time with their head lights and brakes lights illuminated. But I in the other hand, had never seen one with lights on in my FSX.Now that I have UTX, I love flying at night time but the vehicles without lights are starting to bug me little.I have SP1 and I have resized textures using image tool (batch file provided few months ago). Can somebody help me why I am getting this? I must be missing a texture or two.Thank you very much.Regards,Danzian

Make sure your detail settings are high enough for those effects to display...

Thank you very much for your responses guys.I feel so dumb now. I have been flying at dusk to check out the lights in vehicles but apparently it only works when it is completely dark. I found that out the hard way. :DI think the settings have nothing to do with it.This one is taken during minimum settings (all sliders left):http://home.comcast.net/~naresh.k.gurung/nightlight1.jpgAnd this one with all sliders to the right:http://home.comcast.net/~naresh.k.gurung/nightlight2.jpgAs you can see this one is during dusk:http://home.comcast.net/~naresh.k.gurung/nightlight3.jpgAnd this one is at night time:http://home.comcast.net/~naresh.k.gurung/nightlight4.jpgWell at least I'm relieved now. Thanks for all your help.Regards,Danzian

Anyone know what bmp is used for the car lights? We can play around with it to see if we can make it any brighter. or the config file names for it if there are any like there is for the various lights at airports for instance. I can make it brighter or tone it down the say I want it.Manny
