And it can be difficult to any one to admit they where wrong. When we get some performance improvements in 12 i think some will move, but considering some still use FSX ??? And that we know will affect purchases, I dont mind paying for the upgrades a small amount, doesnt hurt to help the developers. Agree. I mainly still use X-Plane 11 because of the current rendering issues existing with X-Plane 12. Version 11 is still perfectly usable. July 19, 20232 yr Looks like the recent video coming to the conclusion that X-Plane flight model is better than the competition on pretty much every aspect, triggered so much some of the usual fans of the competing sim, that they had to intervene in this forum to talk about "delusions". 🤣 Edited July 19, 20232 yr by Murmur "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
July 19, 20232 yr Commercial Member One developer/publisher, who started in MSFS, makes an announcement that they're shifting back to MSFS, and there is, as usual, a select few who are automatically writing X-Plane off, because of that one statement. So now there's inibuilds, and Just Flight. In 3 years, 1 dev went from XP to MSFS because of a nice fat bag of cash courtesy of Asobo, and another one went from MSFS to XP and back to MSFS. There are about 200 more X-Plane developers who have no plans on moving anywhere. JustFlight were an MSFS developer from day dot. They simply contracted out a dev team from X-Plane to make the move. Not much was happening in P3D, so it makes sense that they want to go back to what they know and profit from it. That doesn't mean X-Plane is suddenly destined for death. It's fascinating seeing the conclusions some people come up with.
