Burning Blue-Redhill

I've had this for some time and for some reason the 'base' seems to have gone and I can see the white aircraft that were parked up when the Bing Maps shot was taken. I have tried re-installing but that hasn't worked and I can't find a support page on Burning Blue. I don't suppose anyone else has come across this problem?

I've had that at Goodwood. Seems to have cleared itself up. Sorry if that's a 'Works alright for me' post.

Do you have DX12 enabled? If you do turn it off and go back to DX11. DX12 has an issue for some users where the airport ground textures vanish at some airports sometimes leaving the satellite image showing beneath.

If it's not that then I don't know.

That could well be why my issue went away. I was on DX12 then switched back.

Entirely possible. It's the reason I can't use DX12.

I've had this issue with BB airfields and I've always used DX11.

You may have. Anything is possible in this game. I have no experience with BB airfields and perhaps BB airfields have their own problem where the gorund textures vanish for some other reason that I don't know about. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what he means by "base" but given the part where he mentions that he can see the image beneath I took it to mean the ground textures have vanished.

Perhaps he has some other issue that causes the same symptoms but on the other hand, he may just have the DX12 issue which will be fixed if he tests it.

I'm sure he'll come back and tell us if he is using DX12 mode and if turning it off fixed it or not.

Nope, reverting back to DX11 didn't fix. It would seem it's something to do with the CGL files according to the BBD Discord chat. Asobo are aware and they are looking at the problem. Doesn't sound like a quick fix though which is a bit of a pain
