I have P3DV5.4 installed. UTX works great. I have tried to install GEX world version with no luck. Impossible to post on Flight1 forums, it doesn't recognize my account details. During the install after downloading, I get a corrupt file warning and the installer stops. I also get a "invalid start mode" and the installer stops. Any help would be appreciated.

You can raise a support ticket with Flight 1.

I have tried, but the information that is on Flight 1 regarding my account does not seem to work when trying to register for the forum use??

I may be wrong but the forums may need separate registration

There is an official ticket system on the flight one website you will need to use with your order details

There in lies the problem. I can't register for a ticket because I can't remember my password and you need the old password to change it. I found the problem. Going into my registry I found that the Flight1 folder had my wrong home address.

Do you have the correct version installed?  How about your GEX version?

I have UTX installed no problem. I was trying to install GEPD World.

Thanks Jim. I am going nuts trying to install it. I have disabled my firewall and windows defender but, when I run the setup I get a threat flag saying a threat is found. I also get a message that says "invalid start mode,,archive file name". I cleared out any place I could find that may have a reference to the app and still no luck. I am stumped.

Have you had it previously installed (eg on v5.4) - if so it needs a bit of a devious system  to get it in both. I did it with a workaround found on the net.

Had it for V4 but not for 5.4. I did see your work around for another product. Perhaps that was for UTX. Do you have a link to your workaround for GEP3 World?
