Since the SIM update 13 I have had big problems with PROATCX SR.
The Autentic background ATC or AI communication always stutters
Like a record that hangs.
What I found out is that if you press the real mouse button during the sound output and stay on it, the sound is played back without stuttering.
I don't understand what that has to do with the right mouse button. But that's how it is.
I've tried everything possible. There is no solution.
The problem is with the PMDG, Fenix.
It works with the ATR.
With FBW Airbus I don't get any AI or Autentic background sound at all.

Maybe you should contact the developer for a fix.

Sorry, I do not use PRO ATC any more since the developer vanished completely.
It is a dead product anyone should avoid.

I left PRo ATC years ago for the total lack of support.

Hi, I use ProATC/SR every day, I used it throughout the U13 beta and have had no problems at all. Go into the properties of whichever speaker device you are using, click the advanced tab and make sure "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is UNTICKED. Good luck. That was exactly the problem.
A Windows update changed the settings.
I always pay attention to these settings. Pro ATC is very nervous about this.
In this case I blamed it on the Simupdate.
It was a Windows update that changed the settings.
Now it works.

 

However, some words are often said twice.

Do you use the Authentic background sound.

I've gone to FS-ATC Chatter using the MSFS chatter player instead of the sound files from ProATC SR. You get a lot more variation in the transmissions but they're just recordings from live ATC in the region you're flying and do not 'talk' to your AI aircraft. Also the chatter is constant and is not interrupted by ProATC transmissions. Try a free demo: FS-ATC-Chatter Overview - Stick and Rudder Studios

Hi Frank, yes, I always use authentic background ATC, if you pop over to the ProATC FB page there are files available to download i.e. China, Russian, Australian, Ireland and Japan

The problem was solved after a long search.
Not Pro ATC or windows caused the problem.
After MSFS Update 13, the key assignment on my Honeycomb - Bravo Throttle Quadrant has changed.

After I pressed switch 32/33 the problem ended. (Avionics) Before MSFS Update 13 I didn't have this problem.
Now everything is running optimally again.
