  1. I've gone to FS-ATC Chatter using the MSFS chatter player instead of the sound files from ProATC SR. You get a lot more variation in the transmissions but they're just recordings from live ATC in the region you're flying and do not 'talk' to your AI aircraft. Also the chatter is constant and is not interrupted by ProATC transmissions. Try a free demo: FS-ATC-Chatter Overview - Stick and Rudder Studios I Stick and Rudder to have hardly any repetition and local to my flight. Fred
  2. FlyTampa KLAS Las Vegas - No Static Aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS Stands and gates previously occupied by static aircraft will not be selectable for departures. But at least it gets rid of those terrible static Allegiant models
  3. I downloaded and installed 1-2-3 but I determined that it only had the 'stock' 400 clips so I copied the Regions folder from 1.2.1 and pasted it into 1.2.3 and then all the latest updates prompt followed. Not sure what I was supposed to have done on install but I'm very pleased with the product and your support! f
  4. Okay Mark, the problem was at my end; now I have the current clip count of 47996. Thanks very much for your prompt reply! Fred
  5. Mark, the new clips aren't being detected by my FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.3. I have the proper boxes checked in Settings. Might check to see if others report the same issue? Fred
  6. I'm using Aivlasoft EFB v2 on a notebook in network with my desktop for MSFS and am quite happy with it. Fully integrated to SimBrief and Navigraph airac and AI traffic. Started with this tool in P3D and they've very nicely made the transition to the MSFS platform. Currently flying PMDG and Fenix.
  7. Simbrief running okay here (US)
  8. Thank you Gandalph! Very kind of you to provide that assistance! Works just as you described Fred
  9. I'm new to AIG AI Manager and could use a bit of advice. This is a P3Dv5.2HF1 install. I've installed 35 flight plans both BGL and AIGFP. I've set the sim and Traffic Controller to 100%. I'm seeing both BGL and AIGFP traffic, not the 'mob scene' I would've thought with 100% settings, but okay. My question is I have nothing but a blue screen on Traffic Controller; no map at anytime before or after connection and injection nothing in the log tab. The AIG entries do appear in the Addons section and the Scenery Library in P3D but I've found only a single AIG entry for the Traffic Controller in AppData/Roaming/LM/addon.cfg. I appreciate that no map image in the Traffic Controller is hardly an issue but it just feels like something's not quite right and I ought to be seeing more traffic and turning the settings way down. Any Thoughts? Thanks Fred
  10. I found this solution on the BitDefender Community site from user zuiuz and it worked for me. Supposedly BitDefender is working on something but in the meantime instead of turning off the firewall completely: "You can do the following. Go to Protection>Firewall>Settings. For ´´Default application behavior´´ click ´´Edit default rules´´´. For WLAN take the setting ´´Allow´´. OK" Fred Ziker
  11. Thanks everyone for your kind and prompt replies! Regards Fred Ziker
  12. When using UGCX to do a computer defined pushback of the PMDG NGXu it is not a nice smooth pushback like it is with my other aircraft. The best word I can describe the motion is that is jerky. Little hesitations like there is resistance to the pushback vehicle. Brakes are released, interactions with UGCX are normal and this only occurs with the NGXu. I read where the changes PMDG made to this aircraft were substantial necessitating much rework before FS2Crew NGXu could be released but I was wondering if a) is anyone else having this experience, b) is it something I can fix via the profile or c) could you see if it's something to address in one of the next UGCX updates? Thanks! Fred Ziker
  13. Yes please! An area where user developed logos can be shared would be much appreciated! Thanks fred ziker
  14. I set the config option not to run the FMGS check at 10,000 but still the menu got stuck with a blinking climb flow. Must be another 'challenge' I'm not responding to? I completed the After Takeoff Climb Checklist including Below the Line confirmed seat belts off and then the climb flow starts blinking the only response FS2Crew will acknowledge is transfer of control PF to PM and back again. Can't initiate Approach Checklist or anything subsequent. Still blinking Climb Flow at engine cutoff. ???? Fred Ziker
  15. This is brilliant! Just what I was looking for Fred Ziker
  16. This is brilliant! Thanks so much Adriana! It works perfectly in P3Dv4.4 Fred Ziker
  17. At night, the FO turns off the dome light upon completion of taxi checklist. Is there anyway to configure this to not take place? I need to be able to find the overhead panel lights switch during overnight flights with the 747. There is zero ambient light in the cockpit at night Thanks for any advice! Fred Ziker
  18. Yep, the UTL ERJ models are weak! Haven't found a decent ERJ-145. The RavenAI E170 and E175 models have been patched for P3dV4 and Juergen Baumbusch's fine repaints are available for these aircraft. The Alpha-India forums is a great source of info on P3dV4 compatible AI aircraft. The AIG CRJ-700 and 900 have been patched also. Regards, Fred
  19. I'm using PRO/ATC-X with P3dV4 / FSX-SE and have had no issues. What you read about was the fact the the current version does not have the ability to directly import flight plans into all of the 3rd party aircraft currently out there. PMDG, Aerosoft A320 no issues but the FSL A320 and the TFdi B717 do not have direct flight plan import from PATC so I use Sim Brief export for those. I find the voices and ATC control to be the best of what I've tried.
  20. Just an FYI, I was getting the same error message from FSDT regarding an old version of SODE even though I couldn't locate it in the Control Panel and found the "offending" SODE install located in the PacSim/Salt Lake City Int folder. I used the SODE install from that folder to remove it and then the GSX and FSDT airports would install without a problem. This begs several questions: do I go back and reinstall 1.4.2 SODE to reenable jetways in KSLC? The FSDT Forum is not accessible, I presume because of volume. Secondly, has anyone seen anything from PacSim regarding KSLC compatibility with P3DV4?
  21. Is there a comparable way to trigger time compression off/on in the 777-300 as the right click on CHR in the 777-200? This would be preferred to me versus going to the menu in the FMC. Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find the answer in the documentation. thanks fred ziker
  22. Thanks for your reply Alex! It is indeed curious especially since some of us are experiencing the problem and others are not. I can tell you that deleting the .ini file from the texture folder did not solve the problem but I DO think it is an ini problem. I noticed that during the PMDG initializing of the system I did have power to the aircraft and then it suddenly went black when the initialization was complete. So I did a re-install of NGX and the problem went away. Kind of an extreme fix for a new livery but it sure is looking good and now I can actually fly it! fred ziker
  23. +1! I cannot get any power to this livery! Battery power is already 'on' when loaded but no power. All other liveries work fine. Looking for ideas also!! thanks fred ziker
  24. There are folks out there far more knowledgeable than me but here's my experience moving PROATC off my desktop onto a laptop ( I haven't moved ASN and don't use FS Commander). First, I'd recommend upgrading the laptop to Windows 10 and get that completed before moving programs over. Go to the Pointsoft website and download the simconnect.msi file onto your laptop in the Documents folder: http://pointsoftware.de/proatcx_e/download.html . You'll need to configure the simconnect file with your desktop IP address. With PATC you're only allowed to have an active program on one computer at a time. So you can either copy all of your PATC files over to the laptop or create a fresh load of the program on your laptop your choice. When you open PATC on the laptop for the first time you'll have to register the product with your key and all that just like you would if you had just purchased it. You'll have to define the paths to all the FSX folders, weather, etc. on your desktop to access them via the network (Once you've registered PATC on your laptop you won't be able to use it on your desktop without re-registering). Things to expect when networking this program: The sound of PATC will come out of your laptop, the popup screen (when you press 1 on your desktop PC) will show up on your FSX screen just like it does now. I find no delay in response when interfacing with PATC in a networked config except the PATC moving map has some understandable delays in picking up the current position. If you desktop IP address changes (they do from time to time even if 'fixed') You'll have to edit the simconnect. msi file in the laptop as well as the simconnect.xml file on your desktop. If this is your first time using a laptop via simconnect there are two files to install on the desktop and the .msi on the laptop. Just search on the forum for that topic. hope this helps fred
  25. The gift that keeps on giving! Many thanks for the tip on the "TODO" folder! That was the final key to enabling me to successfully upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. fred ziker
