I see what you mean now - that was the Blackbox twitch stream.

The product ships will quite a few voices.  Most are human recorded but there are a couple synthetic options using Azure we created.

The female voice option is synthetic.  

However, since a lot of people like the female copilot model, they want a better voice for the female.

We just put out a call for human female voice artists to record a female FO voice pack for the Fenix version.

Hopefully we'll have one very soon.

Thanks for that.  Yes sorry, it was the Blackbox video.  He was very positive about the add-on but did mention the 'synthetic' female voice at the end.

Happy to read that you will be aiming to add a female voice added by a voice artist.

Speaking of Youtubers, the avatar that Blackbox was using looks a little bit like youtuber Captain Joe I think 🙂
(maybe only in that the avatar is a white male with dark hair, but still...)
