November 4, 20232 yr One of the 3 large multi-engines(4+) flyboats ever made is the French Latécoère 631 with its 6 engines and luxuous interiour and was operational from 1942 till 1955. It was beaten in size when the Sruce Goose(Hercules-H4) performed his only flight on Nov.2 1947. Hereby an overview of this giant, in Part 2, is the earlier German giant -> Dornier DO-X.
