I doubt that would be required...  Can you switch the NAV radios?  And not the COM radios?

Try the C172 as a test.. does it work there?

Some kind of control binding perhaps, or are you just using the mouse? And of course some kind of weird Community folder conflict is always a possibility -- make any changes lately?

Thanks, Bert and ark.  I have tried iton severalaircraft, including 172.  Problem with both Com and Nav using mouse.  No changes lately.

Make sure you don't have any G1000 mods in the Community folder that were "left over" from the pre-WT G1000 days.

BTW, was this working correctly at one point and then the radio frequency switching problem started happening?

Are you using Homeycomb controllers by any chance? Many of the switches on those controllers are not momentary and so are always sending either ON or OFF commands to the sim. Regardless of the controllers you have, a quick test would be to unplug their USB connections, restart the sim and see if the radio frequency switching now works with the mouse.

Another quick test would be to rename the Community folder to back it up and then restart the sim. A new empty Community folder will be created, and then just try the default G1000 C172 again. Or, if you use the Addon-Linker, you can temporarily  "empty" the Community folder with that and then restart the sim and try the default C172 again.

That seems to be the key question.  Then about when did the behaviour change.  Then what else in the way of changes were completed about that time?
Since AAUI 2 I have nothing in the way olf standalone avionics related in Community other than Navigraph related from Navigraph.  And I have no aircraft mods in Community for any flight that are not for the aircraft I am flying.  Just too easy with Addons Linker to keep Community clean and trouble free.

Yep, that was the purpose of my question.

So sorry, all who tried to help me on this, but I  made a stupid mistake.  I tried the switch icon on the PFD instead of the button on the unit. 🙄

But I thought that had worked for me before.

Sorry for all of your work trying to help me.
