December 17, 20232 yr I've suddenly experienced strange fast blinking stripes going out of the planes (screenshots in spoilers). Shaders folder deleted, as well as full reinstall of Prepar3D. Video driver is latest. Could anyone help? https://i.ibb.co/ZTYFbVb/Clipboard03.jpg[/spoiler] Prepar3D 4.5.13.32097 Intel i5-11600K Windows 10 Pro 64bit ASUS GeForce GTX1660 16 Gb RAM

December 17, 20232 yr Did you clear the shader cache when you last upgraded drivers? I'd try that regardless--it looks like a video driver issue. December 17, 20232 yr Author Deleted shaders before and after clean driver install, with no result. Also deleted Prepar3D.cfg. Could it be some Prepar3D properties to a reason if the problem? FSX has no such artifacts. Edited December 17, 20232 yr by IgorMos Prepar3D 4.5.13.32097 Intel i5-11600K Windows 10 Pro 64bit ASUS GeForce GTX1660 16 Gb RAM

Could it be some Prepar3D properties to a reason if the problem? FSX has no such artifacts. Shader cache clean is great. I don't feel it's anything to do with P3D itself, as @Bob Scott mentions the GPU / drivers are more likely. I'm running P3D v4.5.14, being the final 4.5 version in combo with the Nvidia driver version 545.92 and I'm not seeing such artifacts, infact I've never seen such artifacts. Note P3D hits the GPU way harder than FSX ever did. The GTX1660 is a fairly old card in the schema of how GPU tech has evolved, I take it you've had it for some time ? Both CPU and GPU fans & heat sinks clean and functional ? i.e. not full of dust choking the cooling. Maybe reseat the GPU card after cleaning. DDU in safe mode is best. Then download NVCleanstall for the best way to install the new ones. A link to it comes up in DDU. Ray (Cheshire, England).
