Constant Freezing

It only seems to have started since the last update a few days ago, but I'm constantly freezing when trying to end a flight.  Is anyone else having the same issue?

 

My only choice is to use the Task Manager to kill flightsim.

 

All the options seem to have reset as well, though I am now able to hear ATC for the first time since the program was released.

Happens to me too.  Started after the last update.   When I end a flight, the sim freezes and doesn't go to the main screen.   I have to kill the sim in task manager.   I have noticed though this mainly happens when I end a flight at a handcrafted airport.    Anyway, I have submitted a Zendesk report and I urge you to do so too.

 

Edit:  I even removed all my add-ons and that didn't fix it.

Happens to me too, it's a bug in the latest version.

I'm glad that I'm  not alone.

As often as not it just freezes when trying to start a fresh flight.

Hi , i had it midflight yesterday ESNQ -ESSA in the Maddog Cockpit. I thought i might had hit pause button but that was not the case. I eventually after 5 minutes or so killed the sim.

Anyone else having this and a solution perhaps? NORTH EUROPE server was used.

Were you in the beta, just in case?

Happened to me too with SU14, I resolved only with a full reinstall. Which also resolved the long loading time issue. AAAAND (but on this one I want to cross my fingers because it could reappear any moment) the airport texture issue with DX12.

It took me an entire day, painful but beneficial.

I have no clue  , will try the same flight and delete the cache allthough disabled. Maybe let windows control the power setting for the GPU .

Just now I was flying from KDCA to KLGA and part way through, it locked up solid.  All default scenery and aircraft and everything, I only have a few things in my community folder.

I had freezes now and then before - very frustrating . Then I’ve read somewhere to turn off rolling cache. So I did and all of a sudden everything running smooth

Somehow the graphics was reset and properly the reason for the freezing because everything was 4K/ULTRA on my modest GTX1080TI 🙂

I really did not check this prior so i have now rolled back to DX12 , 70% 4K ULTRA/HIGH settings.
