December 29, 20232 yr Norway is a country known for its spectacular mountains, picturesque fjords, rugged cliffs, vibrant green forests, and simmering lakes. It's called the Land of the Midnight Sun because the country's northernmost region experiences sunlight 24/7 during summer months (June/July/August). So, I've set today's date, in my SIM, to July 15, mid-summer in Norway, (while it's bitter cold around here today...🙂...), for my first inspection of this beautiful Nordic scenery, with my light conditions, below, varying from bright daylight to evening glow in my images. In my previous SIMs, I'd virtually (but sufficiently) explored Norway. So, below are 19 pictures, from MSFS/Xbox, as I explore it, here, travelling today from Kristiansand (ENCN Airport), the gateway to and from the continent, at the southernmost edge of Norway, all the way north to the city of Tromsø (ENTC Airport), in Northern Norway, well past the Arctic Circle, a total flight distance of about 800 miles. I've tracked northward along the unique looking inlands, and the craggy peaks and ridges of the Scandinavian Mountain Range. The mountains of Norway are never far from the seas (North Sea or Norwegian Sea), which makes them special. Galdhøpiggen is the highest mountain of Norway and an iconic symbol of all the Northern European mountains. It is located about 250 miles directly north of Kristiansand. Please see my overfly shots of this mountain and its vicinity in shot #s (5/6/7/8), below. BTW, I hope you like the Australian 2018 SR22 G6, as my (private) conveyance, on this tour of Norway...🙂...flying far across the world from its home...I liked this nice (Uluru themed) paint...🙂... Thanks for viewing.
