Stearman over Sedona

Featured Replies

Just grabbed the Stearman. I used to have a nice Hawker Fury back in FSX/P3D and it had converted ok to MSFS originally, but it stopped working after one or other of the SUs. This Stearman has a lot of the same look and feel of that though, so is a welcome addition (although I'd still love the Hawker back - "Hawker heroes" I think it was, a set of about five aircraft)

Sedona seemed like the sort of place to check it out

Usual thing, all 4k converted from HDR, look best on a big screen.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Nice shots!

and talk about a coincidence, look where I just had a test flight with my latest Stearman paint:

beautiful area, isn't it?

All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2

Lovely set, Andy. Jan's Yellow/Gold paint stands out on this a/c...

Yes, recalling a/c and scenery, from the old SIMs, always adds to the enjoyment in MSFS...only even better ...🙂...

Sedona seems wonderful...Long back, had a short stay of a couple of days of work in Phoenix, but could not make it to Sedona...will sometime...

Thanks for sharing...!

Classy Classic!!!

Cheers, PMP! I must admit I was well pleased with these - the light hit just right.

Cheers P! Never been there myself either. A few working trips to Phoenix, but as with most of my trips, no real personal time to explore. Which is why I love to go back and visit in the sim.
