January 21, 20242 yr I have just taken my PMDG 737-600 for a quick circuit of St Maarten, and I noticed something whilst heading towards what I think is St Barthelemy Island. I noticed a large black rectangle in the sea right next to the island, and this gradually disappeared as I approached. However, when I looked to my right as I was passing, I noticed a large number of trees in the water where the black rectangle had been, but they quickly disappeared. I could get them to display again if I looked in the opposite direction, but they disappeared again as soon as I looked at them. Has anyone else noticed something like this in the area? I am using the hand crafted Gaya Simulations version of TNCM. EDIT: On a side note, is there any kind of approach to runway 28 for the airliners at TNCM? I assume not, as it looks very dodgy! January 21, 20242 yr Do you have the South America Mesh from OrbX installed? It is a known issue that it doesn't match with both the default and third party St. Barth. That Sunwing event was very rare indeed and knowing how winds are throughout the year jet aircraft have very little to gain attempting 28 vs 10 especially being full of passengers and cargo as they typically are when they arrive on the island. The few years I worked at the airport never seen it happen.
