Synaptic Simulations (A22X dev) is now an iniBuilds Partner

As Synaptic Simulations seemed to have a good working relationship with FBW (there is still a placeholder for it on the FBW installer), I don't know why they don't all go in together.
IniBuilds are decent developers in my view, and have really come on a bundle in MSFS this year, and we all know the quality of FBW.
Obviously, a quicker way of getting the A220 and A380 to market would be to form an agreement with all of these guys, including FBW.

There was also the issue with some 'borrowed code' from FBW (allegedly) for the free IniBuilds A320NG in the sim, so maybe discussions on this has lead to something and an amicable solution.

You know, if they release quality addons at a reasonable price, I am not too bothered that it won't be freeware anymore.
Certainly with all of the talk of the integrated code between the projects, I wouldn't feel bad if FBW also joined up and went payware.  I think everyone would benefit in the long run.

Theres a PR on Github to remove it from the installer already

I consider this very good news.  I assume payware with inibuilds support means we get the plane quicker

That was my thought too.  I’d rather have it faster than free!

It’s not a certainty at all. Just because he’s on Inibuilds doesn’t mean he’ll get out faster. You’re dreaming.

well logic wouldn't agree with you there.  It's a tiny team.  Maybe even one dude.  Who is joining forces with probably one of the most productive and experienced teams in MSFS.  I fail to see how you don't see that speeding up the pace.

Yeah if Inibuilds is adding resources to the dev it should be quicker.  INI doesn’t seem to do anything overly slowly…

This project was moving at snail pace. We have seen much more from the A380 by the FBW team compared to the A220 despite the A220 being in development since 2021.

Good I'm happy to pay. It's great there is freeware out there of a decent quality but buggy systems annoys the hell out of me I'd rather pay so it works 100%.

There's freeware without buggy systems.

Since most freeware isnt working too well it  might be a good choice. But we will wait another year or two for a release I bet.
