EzDok or ChasePlane

Recommended Posts

Hi, have ChasePlane, but saw some videos about Ezdok v3, and have feeling that it is better than old and not updated ChasePlane.

Any comparison or thoughts from owners of both?

My problem with EZdok was that it was very complicated to set up.

Indeed, chaseplane is much easier to set up.

But what is overall Ezdok experience - do you have better, more life like effects?

Agree with those above. Chaseplane checks all boxes.

Tried both, use neither. For me, at some point at a very inconvenient time, they stopped working.
I found skillful use of keyboard commands and arrangement of existing views meets my needs.

I have EZCA V3 - I didn't find it hard to set up. Works well and is updated. Effects are fairly good, although I am fairly boring and don't use many except for dynamic head movement in some cockpit views (so I can see how bad turbulence is).

Cheers

I used all versions of EZDOK and I am quite happy with V3 im my P3DV5 installation. Yes, the learning curve might be a bit steeper than for Chaseplane, but once you have set it up it‘s s joy to use. Can‘t imagine flying without. I use VR exclusively and call several cameras by speech commands (through VoiceAttack).
