@Bob Scott I have the TCA Air Bus throttle without the side car which I only plug in when I’m flying my FS Lab busses. I have a custom made Boeing quadrant for well, Boeing jets and use my old CH throttle for GA and extra buttons with the commercial aircraft profiles. Is it possible to connect two TCA Airbus throttles together for flying quads such as the 747? With the side cars added that might make a nice throttle kit which would exceed $300 a bit but would be quite versatile. What say ye?

One other plus is this unit wouldn’t be as bulky as Bravo and very easy to unplug and store when not in use.

Sorry. A quick visit to Thrustmaster site shows you indeed can combine throttles for quad engine. Might be an alternative to consider for anyone hesitant to buy Honeycomb right now.

Yes indeed. That really looks nice. Much more compact and IMHO even more realistic looking then the bulky Bravo. I never liked the bulky case in front of the Bravo and thought the levers looked flimsy and toy like in the videos I watched. A couple of times I ordered a Bravo on Amazon over the past two years then cancelled before shipment because something nagged inside. Even my Alpha yoke looks more like a car toy when I look at the Thrustmaster Boeing yoke. Just an opinion mine you so no slings and arrows please.

The Bravo is by far the Best Throttle Available for $300 Price Range.  I had the Thrustmaster TCA Airbus throttle quad it felt cheep and its not anywhere near as customizeble as the Bravo.

Bravo build quality is much better

For the first 2 years maybe. After that count on the on-lever buttons (ToGa and thrustreverse) to fail. Mine did after 28 months.
If you have some skill soldering, good eyes and patience you might be able to repair that yourself though.

I still use the Bravo for props since ToGa and thrust reverse aren't that of an issue for these but I've purchased the TCA Airbos Throttles+addons to use for jets (and the ATR) and I think they are great. It is more precise than the Bravo and also more robust.

The Bravo could have been great if the internal wiring had been better, now it is just "quite good" for props and "bad" for jets.

One more question please Bob. If you put two TCA bus throttles together    to make a quad I figure the width of throttles would be about eight inches  wide. That would be for a big man or a little man with a big hand, no? What I’m asking is how does that work for fine tuning the four engines of a DC6 or 747?

The four levers span 6.5" across.  It's slightly awkward--but then again, the real-world throttles in the C-141 transports I used to fly were a handful, too.  There's a bit of a challenge getting all four into reverse--I typically bring the two center engines into reverse idle together, then #1 and #4 one at a time, then bring everything back to full reverse.

How much would I need to pay at least to get a decent throttle quadrant for multi aircraft use? I would be willing to pay more if I can expect that this will hold for the next 10+ years and accomplishes my needs in flying boeing and airbus aircraft.

Not desperate at all, I could wait a couple of months. Why, is there something coming?

Yes but I can’t divulge anything at this stage. Hope you understand.

Will be it be ready before summer? Will it be worth the wait? Will it be below 500 USD/Euros?

It may be sooner than a couple of months so yes, before summer. Definitely worth the wait. Think of the VirtualFly TQ6 quality but better suited to 4 engine aircraft.

Around that. Probably a little more but nothing that would deter you.

Alright, I hope the levers are interchangeable like the bravo for Boeing and Airbus usage. I am not really interested in four engine aircraft to be honest. Is there a website or something I can get updates or just get a newsletter when there are any official information

That will be given when the formal announcement is made.
