Hi, anybody can take that map and modify it. Such as by adding all airports that you have added (purchases and freeware).

To do that, click the 3 dots on top the map and choose Copy Map. Give your copy a new name and it will now show up in your own MY MAPS page on the online Google Maps site. At this point you can add anything you want to the map, such as all your payware and freeware airports that you own. You would put these in a New Layer on your copy of the map to keep them separate.

Later on the guy who made the original map is going to add on to it at the next world update. You could then copy that map and give it another name. Then just move the layer you made for your airports on your first copy over to the second copy. And then you have a very useful map to plan trips with.

You have to get used to the Google Maps interface to do things like move a layer from one map to another, and so forth.

Also, at any point you can save these maps to your hardisk for safekeeping.

That's exactly what I am doing. Really neat to have all available airports/heliports/water landings shown on a zoomable world map! I usually add the source of the addon in description.

I use FStarter. All bespoke airports and both official and users POIs can be seen on map and spawn to. Plus a lot of other features.

You can also view handcrafted airports in Addon Linker's "addon map", under the Tools tab.  It shows a different colour coding for handcrafted airports.

Me too, I add the source in the description and use a different symbol. All the symbols on the map remind me how many $$$ and $$$ microsoft is making off of me 🙃
