March 10, 20242 yr The Pilbara, in NW Australia, is one of those areas where I can find my way around based on the geology. March 10, 20242 yr Great aerial shots of a magnificent area of the country! We just drove through that region late last year - loved the whole of Western Australia, especially the entire coast and the National Parks we visited! Since arriving home on the east coast I have also flown the entire Big Lap route we drove , which was almost as enjoyable! Cheers, Brian L Robinson Flight Simmer since 1983 - loving the brilliant Quality Wings 787 and all PMDG models!!
March 10, 20242 yr Very intriguing area. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Will have to visit there soon (in the sim)!
March 11, 20242 yr Beautiful pictures, Jan... Had not heard this name of the area, but the terrain looks familiar from SIM...🙂...very unique indeed... Thanks for sharing...!
March 11, 20242 yr Author Thank you for your comments! I love the Pilbara, having spent many many weeks there exploring the geology, over several years. I think I have driven every road, track or path you see in these pics many times. The only thing I've never done is fly there (in real life that is) All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2
