That could be amazing.Question I have is, if Microsoft can squeeze this much performance out of Windows XP, then why can't they do it with Vista?RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

They were running MS Office benchmarks though for this... that's definitely not the same thing as gaming tests. I wouldn't assume we're gonna see 10% FS improvement or anything.

I agree. Whatever they measure for the MS Office benchmarks we'll never see the gain with MSFS. Words-per-minute just isn't the same as frames-per-second. I wouldn't look for any magic with SP3. The real wonder is that there is an SP3 at all for a "legacy" OS. Speaks volumes for just how bad Vista really is.Doug
