April 1, 20242 yr For example Is the checklist on the yoke visible in VR ? Is the EFB visible in VR ? How user friendly is the FMS in VR ? (have seen statement that there are big problems here when using a mouse)
April 1, 20242 yr Haven't flown it in quite some time but just fired it up today, There is no checklist on the yoke. Or at least I don't know how to activate it. There is a complete checklist in the EFB. The EFB is visible and looks very good in VR. The FMS is very usable in VR, much like the 737 or MD-80. No issues for me using the mouse. The immersion in VR with this is great. You really get a feel for the "all over the place analog" cockpit. The only thing is it hurts my nest to get allll the way to the back of the overhead for the avionics switches! Will have to take a flight and report back. EddieKABQ
April 2, 20242 yr things are fine except the mouse interaction is a little lacking--mouse pointer doesn't skim the vc surface, it hovers a bit above it until it hits the click spot and then the pointer touches down on the click spot. hope this gets addressed for v2. I really hope so too. I have experienced this in other circumstances and it really makes the mouse unusable. I have just purchased the plane. After all it is listed as fully VR compatible. If so the mousepointer shoud be usable. If not what options do we have ?
