Weather clearing as we move off north up the Hudson And on the western side of the river, just below the nose, is Nyack. A fine place to visit, and probably to live, too, with a really attractive arty enclave of shops and such down towards the river. I remember several very good secondhand-book shops there, where I picked up quite a few little gems on my two or three visits. I seem to remember that maybe the Prudential has (had?) a big data centre outside town? So there you go. Quite possibly more than you ever wanted to know about KLGA and my book-buying habits. I like it a lot, but it really is way overpriced for what it is (as you'd expect from CS) and it is not terribly realistic out of the box. You can rig the sound set, but the Transall does have way more of the sort of features you would have hoped for in the Herc. But it is a Hercules! And it does look good.
