Logitech/Saitek Pro Switch Panel - fully working at last!

Featured Replies

For all those people struggling to get their Logitech/Saitek Pro switch panel working in MSFS (even after installing the plugin), I found the definitive solution to be SPAD.next.

I've been using FSUIPC and AAOs for a long time, but neither of them allowed me full use of the panel for every aircraft. I'd often seen SPAD mentioned being used for other hardware and was pleasantly surprised to find it offers a 14-day trial period.

Setup was easy/relatively intuitive - and it prompted me to uninstall the old plugin. Even when used at its most basic level, my panel now works fully with all the aircraft I've tested so far. On top of all that, it allows for some pretty fancy customisation (scripts) which can be applied to any profile which, in turn, can be applied to any aircraft (or group).

I thought I'd have difficulty coping with all the myriad functions and options, but the software more or less steps you through it and flags it if there's a problem. For all its complexity, the GUI is superb, IMHO. I suspect I could eventually replace all my AAOs profiles with SPAD ones, but I'm really happy with AAOs and they both seem to get along fine.

So for anyone sitting on the fence - or who thinks it may just be "a bridge too far" - I'd thoroughly recommend giving the trial a go.

DISCLAIMER: I'm just a new SPAD.next user - and have no affiliations with them - just delighted to [finally] get full use of my panel.

Does it work with A2A Comanche as well? that is the only aircraft it doesn't work for me with the Logitech plug-in, which I have to start manually since moving to Win-11.

It should work well, I have a few switches working on my Honeycomb Bravo.

You can retrieve profiles or snippets online as well.

I have SpadNext  and I have all the switches and other things programed. There are profiles that you can download for the Comanche for all the various controllers out there.

I also run SPAD.next with the A2A Comanche with no problems - though you *do* have to program a few switches.

I *liked* the messages above about Spad.net. I've been using AxisAOhs. But I may switch to Span.N. after reading the above. If anyone is wondering, you only need to pay once for Spad.N. Or maybe again for MS2024. Unless you want some fancy stuff with Spad.N that takes a subscription (such as those physical Saitek round gauges).
