CPFlight MCP not working since SU15

Featured Replies

I probably need to contact support at CPFlight, but thought I'd ask here beforehand. Really disappointed today as I went to start a flight in the PMDG 737, only to find that the MCP/EFIS no longer works since updating SU15. I get an error message saying 'airplane model not yet supported.' Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Howard,

had the same issue today after updating SU15.

I went to the homepage from CPFlight and downloaded the latest driver and install. Now my MCP works like before updating SU15.

Are you using latest v3.84? I just read in PMDG forum this version does not work.

I9-13900K | ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming LGA 1700 | MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 24GB | CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid Cooler | CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 64GB (2X36) 5200MHx DDR5 | Thermaltake GF3 1650W 80+ Gold PSU | Samsung QN90C Neo QLED TV 50”

Hello

I also have problem with the 3.84 (same message, model yet not supported) so I update my FSUICP and it is not working anymore.

I Tried with the 3.83 version still not working

So I revert to an old version of FSUICP and it work now (with 3.83) but not very well.. (I have to connect multiple time)

So for me there is a problem between FS COM and the new FSUICP version.

I send a mail to CPFLIGHT, I wait for an answer

What sorted it for me, as was recommended by Joachim, a reinstall of the CPFlight driver. For me, I downloaded the latest driver from CPFilight, and did a full reinstall. It then worked fine. Unsure why I didn't try that first before posting on here

Hi all,

i'm still using FSUIPC 7.4.9, because there are issues reported with the newer versions.

FS COM is Version 3.84

Everything works fine with the PMDG.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm post SU15 as well, and in my situation I can use the test app to fully access my MCP, EFIS & COM. But it will not connect to MS2020, and of course will not control or display what is going on.

I tried a windows uninstall of the CPflight app, and reinstalled, no difference. Is there a separate "driver" for CPFlight to uninstall/reinstall?

Running the connector, it never shows CONNECTED. And trying to hit CONNECT a second time, it says COM port already assigned.

There is no answer at home, at CPFlight. It has been a week or two. Maybe the boys are out having a long espresso.

Sorry to jump on this thread. Someone locally is selling a “CPFLIGHT MCP 737 PRO” - it doesn’t say 3. Would this work with MSFS? Also, if buying this stuff second hand, how easy/difficult is it to get the drivers?

Thanks

Same problem. The message "aircraft not yet supported" appeared first. I then downloaded and installed the 385 by doing a clean install. Then a port problem message appeared.

Make sure your FSUIPC is the latest version and up to date.  Had similar issues.

Also CHECK that when you install/update that you select either EXE xml file or CAB file during the installation process.

Hope this helps.

What do you mean when you say, " it doesn’t say 3? " EDIT: sorry if my reply is outdated, just seen the date of your post!
