I don't remember what happened but I remember it really annoyed me at the time. Then again, each plane that I own...and I own quite a bit....have their own quirks. I mean it took pmdg months....months...to figure out the dc6 bugs with oscillation in gps/nav mode. So, I think I will give FSS some leeway considering how relatively new they are to simming in comparison. Yeah, but if your plane cant track laterally then you're gonna have problems. Curious, was this with any other gps-related mods (tds, pms etc) out of curiosity? So this is a consequence of using the Asobo LNAV, it can't do some of this stuff. Here's a good example, excuse the poor drawing, mouse sensitivity was too high. BOS-LGA, NELIE VALRE HAARP4 is how the route ends. Coming off NELIE, cleared direct BASYE, direct, no issues, overshoots. Approach assigns "ILS 22 approach" on initial contact right around BASYE, so I enter ILS 22 into the box (it *should* insert the approach and a discontinuity in pretty much any aircraft I'm familiar with!) but instead it dumps out the rest of the STAR. Tried to get it to pull back up, no luck. So, instead, it was dead reckoning on the rest of the STAR, which was fine enough, but if you look at the Volanta track I'm at least 2 miles southwest of the STAR course, "doing my best," but if this had been a busy day on VATSIM it would have been annoying for me and annoying for the controller. It's just broken LNAV code really...
