July 9, 20241 yr Hi, I was wondering if anyone had tried the new beta app from Nvidia that manages graphics driver installations? https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/software/nvidia-app/ It's supposed to be way better than the Gforce Experience app in terms of usability and apparently has some Nvidia Inspector features to set up your GPU settings. I recently got stuck with the GE app not allowing me to install an updated driver. The installation button had completely disappeared for some reason.I managed to fix it but the GE app is really a PITA. July 9, 20241 yr This app is still in beta. I would not go for this one (I have tried one similar a few months ago and it was also a PITA), some features were not functioning and the interface is very different from GE. For me, for the moment, GE does the job. Patrice Dubois

July 10, 20241 yr Author OK thanks guy for the feedback. I need to install a new graphics card in my PC so I will give it a shot. I can always revert back to the older app, if needed. July 11, 20241 yr By the time this comes out it will be NV APP only. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 base clock Could Hit 2.9GHz (guru3d.com) This could kill AMD GPUs. MSI have already stopped making AMD GPUs. The Game console is the only thing making money for AMD in GPUs. Edited July 11, 20241 yr by G-RFRY Raymond Fry.
