July 17, 20241 yr Hi all, installed Aerofly FS2 years ago during it's early access and I like Aerofly. The core engine is very well done and therefore it needs less pc ressources. Indeed I can measure that the pc only consumes around 60 % electricity compared with the other sims and the cpu and gpu both remain much cooler while flying for hours. It has a very useful navigation system where a flightplan can be created in minutes including sid and stars and without the need to involve any ressources from the web directly. And it has more than 30 quality aircraft. And here I will show almost all aircraft, 1 shot of each aircraft followed by a shot of the main panel of that aircraft. It's devided into 3 parts. 3 gliders, a Camel and the Red Baron aircraft are not shown. F/A-18C F-15E Strike Eagle Bf 109E P-38 Jungmeister Ju 52 Corsair Extra 330 Pitts Swift Glider Thank you very much for viewing! July 17, 20241 yr Great set of pix, Andreas. I don't use it much these days but I do like AF, very impressive sim. I grabbed an early copy of FS1 when it came out, and jumped on FS2 when that appeared. Still fun to take the Corsair and P-38 out from time to time. Some nice scenery addons out there too. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

July 17, 20241 yr But still no live weather, correct? It is a real shame, if that is the case. A flight sim without real weather???? Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
July 17, 20241 yr I have still AFS2 on my PC installed and the majority of the AFS4-Planes are included. Occacional flying as Sim via AFS2 and indeed the planes are very well modelled and flyable. It was a pitty that planes and some scenery of AFS2 can't be used in AFS4 and the reason not to have purchased AFS4.

I have Aerofly FS2 installed on my older pc, it runs with low specs and good quality. There is a nice freeware scenery package for Hawaii as well, like that. 10 hours ago, HiFlyer said: FS4 Has advanced the sims capabilities significantly....... In addition to FS2 you will get a Concorde, A380, A321, B737-900, B737 MAX 9, B787-10, UH 60 (very good) and JU 52 in FS4. And this all for a reasonable price and it's all quality aircraft, looks good and works. You will also get orthoscenery for the US and Europe including a lot of airports. There is a CRJ 900 in FS4 as well, missed that. Some complete AFS2 sceneries such as the very nice Hawaii scenery do not work in my AFS4 but the images would. And the big difference between AFS2 and AFS4 is that in AFS4 complete autogen (they call it cultivation) and almost all major airports are available for the US and EU and even for Japan. So you have the a basic ortho coverage for the US and EU which is sometimes very good and sometimes a bit low resolution and autogen and airports everywhere. And this can be improved in the future by imroving the images (stream) or by installing higher resolution images. I have scenery for the entire Italy which is equal or even better compared with msfs. This a 60 gb download high res images for AFS2 which work in AFS4. And the big difference to AFS2: Airports and autogen are already there, so it's complete.
