Jon, as I said earlier this isn’t a procedure I can run myself. Just check that the csv files in the RC4\Data folder have the same modified date as those in the main P3D folder.

If they are all is well.

Oh my bad.

Yes they show the correct date and time, so they're updating correctly.

One of the suggestions made on the FSUIPC6 forums way back when for this issue was to alter the CPU priority of the RC4, I know how to do that, but what would that entail, and could it lead to issues?

I know this almost certainly a QW787 issue, I'm still just hopeful that somehow I can find a way to allow the 787 to work with RC4, as I do enjoy the plane.

Jon, you’ve been told by John Dowson the QW787 is a SimConnect hog. Accept it and move on.

No need to change anything with RC4 priority. Try a short flight with a simpler aircraft. If RC4 behaves itself it’s obvious the problem lies with the aircraft chosen.

Alternatively, reduce Ai traffic to 20% and try the QW. If the problem goes away that suggests too much traffic is causing issues with SimConnect which transfers to FSUIPC and then RC4.

All I can add is that I do exactly the same but then to be sure (maybe unnecessarily) I copy all the files from RC4 to P3D. That seems to work, although it is a bit belts and braces.
