Just a quick flight across the Atlantic to Milan. It's also my third flight with the aerosoft A330. Pretty dark crossing across the Atlantic The sun rising as we approach England. A nice view of the Alps during our descent for Milan. Some scattered showers on our approach to Runway 35R.

Hi All. So I don't know if this is the wrong forum for this so apologies in advance if it is. In short I learned that PF3 is now freeware and as I wanted to try it out. I install it (not in the program files or X86) and start it up. I enter 999 as the activation code (and make sure that I'm running it on administrator), it then asks for a password and an email, I don't enter the email cause I figure there's no reason, but I do enter a basic password (cause if I don't it says "invalid password" and ends the process). This is where the issue starts, when I click ok afterwards the program just quits, it just ends right then and there. No warning, no lag or stutter, it just stops. Furthermore when I click it again it starts the whole activation process again. A piece of advice I saw was to modify the ini file, however my folder doesn't even appear to have one, and each time I've reinstalled it the PF3 folder did not have an ini file within it. So long story short, anyone have any idea what to do? Jon.

What do you mean by the VC registributable version itself? The CTD in the iFLY is interesting. And is very likely related, cause I noticed it only started after I updated the data for the FMS manager. However QW haven't updated their 787 in years despite some bugs still existing (the controls only moving halfway during control checks to name one). So I doubt they'll update it. Signed John.

Already had it installed but reinstalled it. Crashed again with this error. Afterwards tried again removing the hires panel entry in the CFG. And this time had this crash log. John.

Hi all. Been having a very recent problem with QW787, when I open up the chart page it leads to an automatic CTD of P3D 5.3 HF2. After some testing I have been able to narrow this down to the navigraph charts only, as non navigraph charts don't lead to this issue. I've made sure they're activated (using the QW navigraph verification directly). Reinstalled QW 787. Reinstalled the C++ 86 and 64, and used SFC check via the command prompt. None of them have fixed the issue or lead to improvement. I do luckily have a crash log. Signed John.

Wow that is one of my favourite routes in the sim, Although I did it in a 747 since still need to wait a bit till I get 777. Have a good flight, I actually really enjoy the longer flights, but they aren't easy to do. Sometimes I end up just falling asleep, and for my first time doing the Singapore to Vancouver flight I actually got a friend to take over and do the night bit while I just slept. Second time I managed not to, but it wasn't easy. A flight I one day hope to fly on in real-life, maybe in a few years even be at the controls but we'll see. Thanks everyone for replying to this post, I've found 1 or 2 flights I actually did in my sim experience, and there are several that I would also really love to try out such as the London to Sydney I believe, I have remembered one that I do wish to try is the 777-200LR Air Canada from Toronto Pearson direct to Sydney, Australia. When I've looked at Simbrief it's an 18hour flight, so when I get the PDMG 777 I'll try it out. Hope you all have good flights. Also I saw someone post about flying in an old prop, my longest flight in a prop was a constellation from Toronto- London Heathrow, it took about 13 hours I believe and was a night flight( again my friend did that part). Yes the longest flight without saving it, however a technicality would be to do a long night flight and go to sleep, then wake up in the morning and land it. So that sort of flight would count.

So a question for everyone is what was your longest flight that you ever achieved from start to finish, and no time acceleration or unlimited fuel. Where did you go? Which aircraft did you use and did you enjoy it. Now note you didn't need to be in the cockpit all the time for the flight to count. My longest flight for example to my knowledge was from Singapore to Vancouver non-stop with the PDMG 747-400 Air Canada it was extremely long and tiring(about 14-15 hours since winds were strong), but enjoyable once I got there. So what was the longest flight you managed? Also please mention the route,the aircraft, and airline(optional). Also if you want you can mention what your longest flight that you plan to fly is, unfortunately I'm not sure for myself. Signed Jon.

Hello I just installed the Fsx Constellation professional, and am having a great time with the aircraft, I do however have one question. Are there any Repaints for the constellation? Especially Trans Canada air lines L-1049 Super constellation, This is really the airline and aircraft that I wish to repaint(since I like flying my flights from Canada), but I have searched a decent amount and haven't found anything on it either. I also installed the F-lite Dc-10 and was wondering if there was a repaint for Canadian Airlines in 1995 version for a Dc-10-30. Is it technically possible to transfer repaints, so say that the aircraft is made, but the same aircraft with a different repaint which belongs to another developer. Thank you and if anyone has made them or knows if it possible to get these repaints on these airlines please just write a response.

Hello question In the PDMG 777-200 before the patch you could get wind information from Simbrief and could directly link it into the FMC saving a large amount of time. Question in the PDMG 747-400 Queen of the skies, is it possible to do this as well. Also is it possible to transfer the wind data into the FMC of the Captain Sim 767-300 ER without actually typing it all? Thanks for all the help. Also I have the latest version of PDMG 747 and I have occasionally turned the Brake sensitivity down to practically nothing and the Null point to full. Yet the auto brakes still don't function. Hello I've been trying to use the captain sim 767 aircraft but due to the cabin there is a huge loss of frame rates. This is expected but I know that there is a way to remove the cabin from the aircraft using ace but i don't know how? I've tried just clicking it to the setting but it doesn't save that information. So if anyone can explain how to do it or why it is not working then please help. Thanks

Hello I was flying the PDMG 747-400X queen of the skies and was looking at everything. Overall I think it is a great aircraft but there are several bugs that really annoy me and I can't be near the simulator when they are occuring. One bug (although i don't know if this is a bug) is where fuel flow is different for every engine as well as different then what PDMGs documentation states it should be (GE air canada for those who are wondering). Now this isn't as such as a problem since i just correct fuel so that it states there is enough in the fmc progress page. Another bug and this is the major one is what I call the rolling bug. During times in the flight the aircraft will start rolling left and then right violently and at angles up to 30 degrees of bank. This is really annoying because most of the time the aircraft has to make an alteration of 1 or 2 degrees to correct for the change not 30 degrees. This is extremly annoying and I cannot stay near the aircraft when it is occuring. one last bug is the auto brake. People state that it needs to be turned on during final approach for it to work. I try this and it still doesn't work despite spoilers and eng at reverse. The only thing I think it could be is that I don't have auto throttle on below 500 AGL( I like flying manual under 10,000 ft). If anyone can get back to me on this that would be well appreciated. Yes I have service pack 2 but no SDK, I tried ADE and it didn't work apparently it required the sdks but i only have deafault fsx and don't know if there is are sdks for service pack 2 or 1. And apparently AFX requires money.

It did not work, I tried to install Fsx ADE and it would not send the information of my modified airports to my files, it stated I needed SDKS, but I run default fsx, it does have sp1 and sp2 but i don't know if that is enough. Please tell me is sp1 and 2 enough to get the sdks for the appropriate service packs or does anyone have links to the correct location. for sdks

I don't want to edit the aircraft wingspan Just the "radius" of the parking spot preferably without add ons again. So is there a way that I can edit the radius of a gate without add ons. Maybe the cfg file for the airport. I know this is a ongoing issue and hopefully fsx steam edition will make more realistic parking at least. don't really care too much about unrealism but if it is possible for not more then "normal" fsx unrealism then that is fine. ok thanks can you link AFCAD really scared of viruses or "fake sites" that give viruses. had a problem with that on simbrief where a "fake site" that mimicked simbrief got a lovely little virus on my computer. Thanks again and I will install and run the program.

No i don't want to install add-on scenery and thanks for the first info but can you explain like in more detail. I don't want to change the scenery itself i just want to make a gate medium into heavy so that when i arrive in my 747 there is some space for parking like in the real airport. I just want to be able to change the name of the gates from medium to heavy and change the specs for the gates so only heavy aircraft can park, preferably without installing any add ons and from the interface itself, Ive heard its possible but I want to check.

Hello I've being flying default fsx for a while at medium graphics with no add ons, (due to technical restraints) and I have realized that a lot of the airports that i fly to have only 1 gate heavy or none in the airport in fsx while real life has like 5-10. I know that it technically possible to change the config file so the gate is heavy but i haven't found much support or tutorials on how to do so. I just saved fsx from a previous issue that occurred and took a long time to fix so I would like to ask on the forums. How to change a gate in default fsx from small or medium to heavy. and how to change a ramp to a gate. Thank you very much and please I am new so please be patient.

Yeah 50 + fps is a big expectation but will it at least work well. Thank you for your replies but I really don't want to buy a pc mostly because it is a pain to maintain and I've gotten a lot of headaches from the only pc computer that i bought. Thanks for your replies

Computer is the retina 5K mac. I would really hope for a reply soon since i am getting the new computer soon and it would help influence my decision. I probably won't use much of add-on scenery but will use pdmg 777 with active-sky and high or ultra graphics also with ultimate traffic maxed out or near max. Thank you.
