Other than that, I'm not really sure what you mean when you say "tune your system".

Did you undervolt with PBO? Did you adjust settings in your BIOS to offload unnecessary defaults? Did you adjust your RAM timings? Do you use process lasso to offload tasks from CCD0?

Cppc is set to cache

Set it to “Driver” otherwise everything CPU intensive will use CCD0 which isn’t what you want…you basically want only MSFS using those precious cores.

I've enabled PBO and applied a negative curve per CCD (CCD0 -25, CCD1 -10). I also tightened the timings and applied a mild RAM overclock from 6000 to 6200MHz (higher than this caused instability issues). Not sure what offloading unnecessary defaults mean. I'm not using Lasso as I've been under the impression that it's recommended to let Win11 handle this automatically with the 7950X3D. I used Lasso with my previous CPU though (12900KF).

I’d recommend disabling onboard graphics as well. Upgrading your RAM to 64gb would likely help as well. I had a noticeable uplift in perf with this chip after upgrading to 64gb and tuning it.

Try assigning background tasks (AIG, etc) to CCD1 with an affinity mask and see if it helps.

OH, and disable virtualization/hyperthreading (SMT)

Hi - how did you get the CPU overlay in RTSS? I cannot for the life of me figure that out lol.

The top part is from RTSS with sensors set using Afterburner. The bottom is with CapFrameX active.

Thank you!

What if the CPU loads are "reversed"?
