How was it REALLY like flying the Concorde....

Whilst the real Concorde stopped flying nearly 21 years ago we’re very lucky to have a version available for P3Dv5 that is extremely faithful to the actual aircraft.

I still know how to move fuel around its 13 tanks and when to do it. That was possible with the 32-bit FSL Concorde but unfortunately much is locked down in the 64-bit version.

Hopefully that will change when they release it for MSFS. Looking at the aircraft externally it still looks futuristic. It’s only when you see the flight deck you realise it 50+ years old.

But as John Hutchinson once famously said… “This is a proper flight deck. None of this poncy glass cockpit rubbish. These are proper instruments with needles and dials.”

Well said John! 😁

A  FSX FlightSimLabs quality Concorde for FS2024 has been announced? Great if true!

It is true but release date unknown. Probably before Christmas.

Can’t see any advantage in flying it in MSFS compared to P3Dv5 especially now lossless generation works so well.

60fps over central London inbound to Heathrow is nivarna. And 12 miles up over ocean the differences will be zilch.
