Charlie - you guys think the time is near for a dedicated MS2024 forum? Edited September 20, 20241 yr by B777ER Eric

As long as it writes to RAM and not to SSD, I'll happily scrape together the extra pennies for 2 sticks of 32 GB. It's the 16+ GB VRAM that I think I'll need that looks particularly expensive. September 20, 20241 yr Would be good to get confirmation on how RAM would be used as I've never got close to the 32GB I have when in MSFS2020. Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.

Install it, see how it runs and if you really need it. They say 32Gb is recommended, 64Gb is ideal. Actual need may be influenced by your internet bandwidth and other variables including what resolution you're running in etc. Can always increase RAM as needed.
