Much longer would be dangerous, the aircraft may get a light control command before the light initialisation takes place... Edited October 9, 20241 yr by kiek
October 27, 20241 yr new AIG model update is online that reenabled the lagacy lights in our models. So any 3rd party application should be able to set them now again with the default SimConnect options 🙂
December 24, 20241 yr Niko I know that it seems like beating a dead horse but I have an observation about some aircraft not showing lights I don’t think it’s just the delay but the fact that specific type is loaded for the first time It seems like for some of them loading a second and consecutive of the same shows the lights that’s why when I observed around 737s or C172s with neighbors of the same type appearing at the scene the lights are on but some obscure rarely appearing type will be without lights unless I reload quickly the program I tried this several times when I saw on the radar aircraft not showing lights I quickly restarted PSTX and every time the lights are on. So the quick reloading of the same type model guarantee lights appearance. You have been making our beloved PSTX better and this is why I’m mentioning it. Maybe it will help mike Sim,PC, monitor, prescription glasses, chair.
December 24, 20241 yr Author Hi, I believe the 2 seconds delay was introduced for live aircrafts only, so it’s normal to have static aircrafts without proper lights if the model was not previously loaded. Setting the same delay for static aircrafts would fix that, but that remain Nico’s choice. Cheers, Amine.
December 24, 20241 yr I am talking about life aircraft not parked I have not mentioned anything about parked aircraft mike Sim,PC, monitor, prescription glasses, chair.

The cause is in the aircrfat package. It would be better if these guys sort out this problem. Btw, you know that for the AIG package there is boolean to be set in a customization.xml file of AIG? I didn’t mean to have reloading of the aircraft as a solution to light inconsistency, only as testing observation On 12/28/2024 at 1:19 AM, kiek said: Btw, you know that for the AIG package there is boolean to be set in a customization.xml file of AIG?
