this is why I map 1 "view hotspot" to multiple manipulators, I have pretty much all of them on two rotary push buttons mounted to the desk - depending on what I'm looking at they are either left/right or inner/outer

Originally I did it with a "mode" button, where I could toggle what the hotas buttons did - but remembering what manipulator was in what mode was a nightmare.

for "fallback" I use the mouse, toggle mouse bound to a button, use that for stuff like the FMC or yanking levers/flipping switches.

For commands - you can chain multiple under a single command, and use "say" json element to say what its doing, use that for checklist type stuff - actually much prefer that to flipping the switches -"startup engines" go through the whole start up procedure and all you have to do is watch[check] them as they are completed.

around for different aircraft, keep meaning to get round to integrating with that (but tbh, enjoying quick start 30min/hour VR flights far more atm, getting far more comfortable with not spending half a day planning any and every flight)
