Thank you I will think of something. Maybe I'll add some form of automated transfer based on the database backup. (although I'm still not convinced that this is a good idea, considering the differences between the sims.) LORBY-SI
November 18, 20241 yr Will the Logitech panel drivers still work in MSFS 2024? For example, re-assigning the Logitech switch panel controls & Logitech AP Panel support?

AAO doesn't need any drivers to talk to the Logitech panels (with the exception of the Saitek FIPs, those need the old legacy drivers, as described in the manual). This has nothing to do with what sim or other game is running on the other end of AAO. The real question is, what you have assigned to those panels. Testers tell me that BVars still can't be accessed in MS24. So, whenever you were using those, they must be replaced with IEs (MSFS Input Events) Edited November 18, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

I dont have any Bvars bound in AAO. I must have been confused, I thought changing the Logitech panels to global midi mode was an Axis&Ohs custom behaviour. That’s my main reason for AAO, to rebind the AP & Switch panel. I shouldn’t have said driver, my mistake.
November 19, 20241 yr Author Commercial Member Well, well. Let's just say that the MSFS 2024 update is "in the queue" for now 🙂 LORBY-SI
November 20, 20241 yr Just to confirm... with release version of FS20204 , AAO says "waiting for simconnect" Edited November 20, 20241 yr by wakevortex

It doesn't work with the existing MSFS variant of AAO. There is a work around, AAO 2020 will connect when you activate the network mode. But I wouldn't recommend doing that, if anything, that can only be a hack for testing. Also in the OP, several features of the app are no longer working with MSFS2024, even with the new version. Asobo has restricted the access to core simulator files in MSFS 2024. Addons that require that kind of access will no longer work. Edited November 20, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
November 20, 20241 yr The control assignments in MSFS are atrocious, going to hold off doing anything in 2024 until AAO is released. | i7-14700KF - 4080 SUPER | 32 GB RAM | Win 11 Pro | HC Bravo | AAO | StreamDeck |

There seems to be a hack for AAO: When you activate "Application->Networked SimConnect", then the app will connect to MSFS 2024. Just be aware that you are using your AAO 2020 database - make sure that stuff doesn't get mixed up. LORBY-SI

When you have identical aircraft in both sims and make changes it will affect both sims. I don't know if that is a thing, just something to bear in mind. Personally, I would create a database backup (Menu "Tools") just in case. LORBY-SI
