I looked and saw there was no admin control assigned to it so that had me stumped thinking perhaps it was only because not enough downloads and users so for right now you have to accept it on start up. So will give this way a try. For a fully automated start you would select this: Always start as Admin - ON Start automatically with the sim - OFF Connect automatically - ON Start simulator before connecting - ON There is also a trick to get rid off the messsage box asking about admin privileges using the Windows task scheduler: - Create a task named "AxisAndOhs " with elevated privileges for the AxisAndOhs exe - Once that has been saved, create a shortcut on your Desktop with these parameters: Target: C:\WINDOWS\system32\schtasks.exe /run /tn AxisAndOhs Start in: "C:\Program Files\LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS" Edited November 23, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
November 24, 20241 yr Before I start I wanted to mention that demo version is missing MSFS 2024 executable, might be good idea to either include it or mention that demo doesn't work with MSFS 2024. Anyway, I have purchased AAO from flightsim.to and now trying to setup mouse yoke. I followed youtube video, current UI has many more options though, but I didn't touch those, just chose AAO mouse yoke toggle and set shortcut. Alas it doesn't do anything. Am I missing something obvious here? Thank you.

That's weird, many thanks for the pointer. Apparently the build process didn't go through for the MS24 version 3 hours ago, last_resource said: Am I missing something obvious here? I did a quick test here, and mouse yoke seems to work as intended. I did not change any settings on a fresh installation of AAO, and just assigned the "AAO_MOUSE_YOKE_TOGGLE" event to a button. I tried both a joystick button and "Ctrl+D" as keyboard combo, both were working. What aircraft are you trying to use this with? Maybe it doesn't react to the default steering events from the SDK? November 24, 20241 yr I have just did same steps for another aircraft and it all worked, then loaded previous one, deleted assigned button and re-assigned it and it's all good. So no issues! Thanks for great tool!
November 24, 20241 yr Author Commercial Member OK, I get it now... Here is how you delete all assignments to a controller in MSFS 2024. In my case, I always had an assignment in "General controls" that I couldn't get rid of (... transversal..) - until now. Click on the small cogwheel next to the profile that you can't set to "None" and select "Duplicate", create a new profile Select the new profile Select "Filters: Assigned" at the bottom For each assignment: click on its cogwheel and select "Delete Assigned Control" press ESC to go back When the screen is empty, Go back with "ESC" Again on the cogwheel next to the profile, select "Apply to all aircraft". Save (8. Pray that MSFS doesn't reset this again) Edited November 24, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
November 24, 20241 yr Only thing I have noticed with the 2024 version is when using the MERGE button for templates, the pop-up for "select items for merge" is empty of choices. | i7-14700KF - 4080 SUPER | 32 GB RAM | Win 11 Pro | HC Bravo | AAO | StreamDeck |

Apparently working fine here, I just checked. How did you arrive at this point? Where did the template come from that you are merging? And why merge instead of linking it? November 24, 20241 yr Fixed, the template was corrupt, I re-imported and the merge worked. It is a template that specifically addresses the trim wheel on the Honeycomb Bravo throttle that I merge into my GA aircraft templates. Thank you for the reply. | i7-14700KF - 4080 SUPER | 32 GB RAM | Win 11 Pro | HC Bravo | AAO | StreamDeck |

Remember that you don't have to merge, you can just link the template. Might be more convenient if you have to change it some day. LORBY-SI

November 24, 20241 yr No issues migrating my scripts from 2020 to 2024 for the DC Designs F-15, great work!

Meanwhile you can use the exe.xml that I've posted in the release thread on this forum. AAO 4.50 released (plus MSFS 2024) - AxisAndOhs Support - The AVSIM Community Personally, I do it the other way round, I have AAO start the simulator. That way I also don't have problems with elevated administrator privileges, which are required for the WebAPI. There is an option for that in the menu "Application->Start simulator before connecting" possibly a silly question but does this start the sim as Admin as well? November 27, 20241 yr Hello, I have an issue with the configuration of Axis&OHS with MSFS2024. I have the latest version and I'm using the one for MSFS2024. I only tried to configure the axes. on Cesna172 G1000. Each time I open a window, for example to select an axis, the software freezes for several seconds, then freezes again upon validation. In the end, I manage to complete my configuration, which works with the aircraft. However, when I try to select this aircraft again, MSFS suggests a different version of the Cessna, the cargo version. If I want to select the passenger version with the G1000, MSFS crashes to the desktop, and the aircraft can no longer be selected without causing this crash. I have to reinstall MSFS to resolve the issue. I've done this four times. Thanks for reading

Move everything on the left into the list on the right with the "Ignore" button that isn't a proper game controller that you are using in AAO. This includes all mice and keyboards, they must be ignored as well. Can't help you with MSFS though. Since AAO does not alter any files or settings in MSFS I can't see how this could possibly be related? Edited November 27, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
